Sue Preston has over 20 years’ experience with large global organisations throughout the world. Her main focus is to help clients optimise their return on investment through designing, managing and delivering high impact training solutions which guarantee behavioural change after any learning intervention.

In her career Sue has held many senior positions, most recently as Director of ‘Negotiations Resource International’. In this role Sue helped clients to increase capability and competence in the art of Negotiation, Persuading, Influencing and Leadership at high levels within global organisations.  Sue is comfortable and confident in identifying capability gaps, choosing the correct method to fill those gaps, whilst ensuring a return on investment to the business and a change in behaviour for individuals. As well as being a training consultant, Sue is a practitioner and negotiates on behalf of her clients when the need arises.  She leads live negotiation projects and most recently Sue constructed a Negotiation plan and strategy for a Utilities company.  Sue executed the plan in live Negotiation meetings with the objective to engage a global supplier to manage their data platform.  Savings achieved were in excess of £1M.

As Sue has worked on a global scale for a significant part of her career she is very familiar with facilitating, engaging and being sensitive to all cultural needs and differences within the training room.   All Sue’s programmes are bespoke and tailored to the audience, their culture and their specific objectives.   Sue has worked in all many areas of the world including the UK and Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Scandinavia, USA, Asia Pacific, Australia and Canada.

She is a highly experienced, professional and motivational Training Consultant and Business Coach.  She has extensive hands-on business experience ranging from strategic to operational levels and therefore understands the many different layers that make up today’s global corporate climate.  Sue’s experience in managing and implementing the design and delivery of major training development programmes and individual coaching programmes was achieved within the Learning and Development Services department of a major international Bank.   After leaving the Bank and becoming a training consultant she has further developed her experience working with a wide range of other industry sectors.

Her experience, combined with her positive personality, using innovative and stimulating approaches such as accelerated and blended learning ensures that each event she designs and delivers is unique, fun, but always business and people focused.  The key outcome is to provide improved business and personal performance through enhanced people skills, attitudes and ultimately change of behaviour back in the workplace.

Sue, uses a blended learning approach and a combination of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Intelligence and is accredited to assess, interpret and coach individuals around their personal impact on getting the best out of relationships using the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI) profiling tool. This approach and methodology is adopted in all programmes Sue delivers.
