Neil Wilkins is a Psychology graduate and highly experienced marketing and communications professional, with a background of twenty five years spent in a broad range of organisations such as: telecoms, IT, manufacturing, consumer and public sectors. He specialises in the development and delivery of strategic and tactical marketing, communications, lead generation and business development training workshops, which draw from a broad base of current business models and case studies.
Neil graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a BSc (hons) degree in Psychology. He then embarked on a career in Marketing including time spent as: Marketing Manager at Ordnance Survey (UK), Strategic Marketing Manager with Marconi (Global), Marketing Manager at Mitel Networks (UK), European Marketing Manager for BP Castrol (Europe), Product Group Manager at Mira Showers (Benelux), Product Manager with Orange (UK) and Marketing Officer in NatWest (UK).
As a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Neil trains their delegates studying for professional qualifications, from introductory to post-graduate level including the Diploma in Digital Marketing.
Neil's specialisms include digital marketing, social media, strategic marketing, lead generation and business development. His engaging, inclusive and facilitative style of training ensures attendees benefit not only from his experience, but also from a 'hands-on workshop' approach in which learning is complimented by personal plans, which can be implemented by delegates as soon as they return to their workplace.
Neil helps individuals, teams and entire businesses to understand how they can develop new marketing opportunities more effectively to improve team working and business development, using diverse tools such as social media, networking and face-to-face meetings.
