For today’s business owners and managers a key driver is success. Though recognisable as a universal aim, many would struggle to define precisely what success means to themselves or to the organisations under their control, let alone what is needed to achieve it! So what is success, and how can it be assured? This workshop will provide the answers!

70 years ago a long term research project on the elements of success conducted over a 25-year time period was completed.  The object of the research was to clearly identify the critical factors required for peak personal performance and business success.   When the results were released, 30 million copies were sold.   The research was commissioned by one of the most successful industrialists of all time, worth $160 billion in today’s terms.

Through his influence, more than 500 people contributed to the research project. They had but one thing in common. They were the most successful business leaders and entrepreneurs on the planet. The research findings outlined 13 common factors which assure success in our chosen field. These ‘13 tenets of success’ are independent of educational attainment or access to capital.  Using them, anyone can be spectacularly successful. Subsequent research and the advancement of science and technology has served only to clarify these findings and provide further evidence of their validity.

Over a 2-day period, you will learn these 13 tenets of business and personal success. Each will be illustrated in a modern setting and illustrated by means of practical exercise.

Together they will establish a clear definition of the widely used terms ‘success’ and provide a platform for changing behaviour so that ‘success’ in terms of outstanding performance both on a personal and business level is understood, measured and integrated as  ‘second nature’ to all who would wish to succeed.

Training Methodology

This will be an INTENSIVE, practical and interactive course.  Participants will be presented with trends and concepts and relate them directly to their personal circumstances and those of their organisation. The course will be delivered in an accelerated learning* format. Participants will, for the most part, work in teams and engage activities designed to ‘embed’ the learning including case examples, practical activities, and syndicate reviews. Time will be allowed for personal reflection, and some personal evaluative work outside the session may be required.
